GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Network Engineer to support the AOUSC, this will be a remote position. Responsibilities include gathering information concerning the capabilities of company products, investigating technical capabilities of company products and competing equipment, staying abreast of developments in hardware and software, generating quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, ensuring requirements comply through formal verification methods, translating high-level product development strategies into network and system requirement specifications, establishing and coordinating development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall network and system development, designing interfaces and bringing network and system elements together so they work as a whole, assessing performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures, and providing customer liaison and support for business development activities.
The candidate will also coordinate the planning, design, and installation of equipment, participate in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts, install all new hardware, systems, and software for networks, design, create, and build network services, equipment and devices, generate system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures, monitor system performance and implement performance tuning, and review test plans/procedures and ensure they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements.
Qualifications include a high school diploma with 10+ years of networking engineering experience (or commensurate experience) and clearance required: ability to maintain a public trust clearance.
