Lead a team of 14 IT professionals as they manage both cloud and on-premise applications. Work with key stakeholders to manage and execute projects related to security and user management. Support an AWS environment, including consumption provisioning for both internal and external tenants. Provide expertise and technical advice to clients and customers to assist with application usage. Mentor team members and maintain a collaborative and supportive environment. Consistently apply best practices, including a focus on accessibility. Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to craft creative solutions and build technology products that improve the lives of those living in the communities they serve. Engage with coworkers across disciplines according to agile and Scrum methodologies, including participating in planning, breaking down requirements into tasks, refinement, and estimation, etc. Articulate the benefits and risks associated with different technical approaches.
Experience working, supporting, and managing a Tier II+III application support helpdesk. Experience serving as the administrator of multiple enterprise Slack instances. Experience with deployment and administration of Atlassian Datacenter application (JIRA, Confluence). Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise. Knowledge of infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Serverless, Amazon CDK, etc. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Circle, etc. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, etc. Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, SonarQube, NewRelic, Nessus, etc. Knowledge of security best practices such as vulnerability scanning and remediation, threat modeling and detection, and static and dynamic testing. Experience communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
