Job Summary:

Are you ready to take on a mission-critical role supporting complex programs for the warfighter? This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to national security efforts with lasting impact. As an isse, you'll help shape secure systems and architectures that protect sensitive data across multiple environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate as the primary security engineering representative on teams designing, developing, implementing, and integrating secure networking, computing, and enclave systems.
  • Conduct technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities, ensure compliance with IA regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Apply knowledge of IA policies and RMF processes to support security planning, risk analysis, and authorization activities.
  • Support the enforcement of trusted relationships across external systems and architectures, ensuring consistent application of agency security policies.
  • Develop and validate system security requirements, contributing to secure system design and implementation across multiple enclaves and classification levels.
  • Review certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation for completeness and compliance, providing expert feedback to stakeholders.
  • Recommend system-level security solutions and contribute to the development of enterprise-wide security architectures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 14+ years of information security experience with a bachelors degree in computer science, information assurance, or related field or 18+ years of directly related information security experience without a degree.
  • Dod 8570 compliance with IAM Level I or IAT Level II (i.e., CAP, or Security + CE).
  • Clearance requirement: top secret/sci with polygraph is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AWS environments and cloud security integration.

Pay Range: $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
