Are you ready to take your engineering skills to the next level? Parsons is seeking a highly motivated and talented Electrical/Hardware Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team! This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge analog, digital, and RF circuitry. As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers to:

  • Create and refine detailed electrical schematics for various projects.
  • Design printed circuit boards (PCBs) to support project requirements.
  • Perform simulations to analyze and optimize analog circuit designs.
  • Model and evaluate RF circuits to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop innovative antenna solutions tailored to project specifications.
  • Conduct rigorous testing to validate antenna designs and performance.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art equipment to test and troubleshoot electrical systems and components.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Strong understanding of circuit analysis principles and techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and other lab tools.
  • Proficiency in simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, or similar software.
  • Solid grasp of the principles underlying analog and RF circuitry.

While not required, the following skills will set you apart:

  • Experience with PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad).
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic theory and antenna propagation.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB or Python for data analysis and simulation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
