As a Mechanical Engineer I, you’ll play a key role in supporting a variety of innovative projects from concept through installation, including custom electromechanical equipment, robotics, structures, workstations, and equipment mounting. This position offers a balance of computer-based design work in the office and hands-on involvement in the shop or at customer sites, giving you the opportunity to see your designs come to life. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and project managers, applying your strong understanding of mechanical engineering design principles while gaining valuable real-world experience. Flexibility is important, as the role may include travel, overtime, and occasional overnight stays. 6 months - 2 years internship or relevant mechanical or engineering work experience preferred. Bachelors Degree in Engineering required, Mechanical Engineering degree preferred. Passing FE (Fundamental Engineering Exam) preferred or willing to obtain within 1 year. Valid drivers license required. Possesses proficiency in the use of personal computers to include Microsoft Office Suite. Proficient in the use of software packages such as Inventor, AutoCad, or equivalent design software.
