Job Description: The Lead Technical Support Engineer is the contracted Telecommunication Subject Matter Expert (TCSME) at a given United States Space Force (USSF) 53 Special Operations (53SOPS) detachment's Wideband Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Operations Center (WSOC). The TCSME provides SATCOM transmissions control and operations technical support and analysis services, along with technical assistance as needed to operations personnel to analyze SATCOM transmissions. The TCSME also is a leadership position for on-site contractors with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, task scheduling and technical training for on-site System Administrators. This position will be based at the USSF 53SOPS Detachment 2 WSOC in Fort Meade, Maryland.
The Technical Support Engineer Lead (TCSME) duties include but are not limited to:
Must have an Active SECRET security clearance, and the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance. Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. Prior relevant experience should consist of the following:

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $98,500 - $182,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
