Our tax controversy services team uses an enterprise-wide approach with global tax risk and controversy management to prevent, manage, and resolve tax controversies. You will be at the heart of this effort.
Our global tax controversy network is uniquely positioned to help businesses with their tax controversy issues. You will be involved in all aspects of controversy management and dispute resolution including assisting clients before the IRS Exam and Appeals Divisions, penalty relief and abatement requests, and advising on Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Researching tax issues to develop effective tax resolution strategies, translating complex data from a range of sources into client-ready insights and deliverables, building effective long-term relationships with our clients, understanding their unique needs to provide a tailored service, communicating complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clients.
A bachelor's degree, ability to obtain a CPA certification or licensed attorney designation, work experience in government or a professional tax organization, strong analytical skills and attention to detail, the ability to adapt your work style to work with both internal and client team members, willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment.
