Entry Level Structural Engineer

We are seeking entry level structural engineers to join our Structural/Marine Group in our Baltimore, MD office. Come join our collaborative team of engineers and architects on a variety of challenging projects, including buildings, industrial facilities, mission critical/secure facilities, water/wastewater plants, and waterfront facilities. WRA has a strong mentoring culture and a focus on staff development. Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and materials. Conduct field investigations, develop concept designs, and create construction documents for clients across a broad range of markets, including federal/local government, industrial, and manufacturing.

Requirements:

• 0-4 years of structural design experience
• Bachelors degree in civil engineering with structural concentration from an ABET accredited program.
• Internship experience in a related field preferred.
• Experience with structural design and analysis software (RISA, STAAD, etc.)
• Experience with drafting and modeling software (Revit and AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI, etc.)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship required

Additional qualifications:

• Masters degree in civil engineering with structural concentration preferred.
• Professional engineer or engineer-in-training (EIT) preferred.

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidates relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
