Hiring range: $154,888 - $193,611
Summary of position: The AVP, Automation Services is responsible for leading the planning, development, and implementation of automation solutions across the organization. This role manages a team of automation engineers and analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality automation initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and align with enterprise technology standards and strategic objectives.
Principal accountabilities and functions:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field with 7-10 years of relevant work experience. 5 years relevant experience managing complex projects. 5 years supervisory or management experience. Demonstrated experience leading automation projects from concept through implementation. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency with automation platforms and frameworks (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Selenium, Cypress, or workflow tools). Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible). Strong understanding of process design, data analysis, and business workflow optimization. Effectively plans, organizes, and manages resources to achieve specific project goals and objectives. Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining alignment with business priorities and quality standards. Ability to lead, mentor, and develop technical teams with a collaborative mindset. Ability to inspire, guide, and develop others to achieve individual and organizational goals. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Applies deep technical knowledge and creative thinking to develop, implement, and improve systems, processes, and solutions. Ability to work the hours needed which may extend beyond the defined work schedule when operating conditions dictate. Ability to lift up to 15 lbs., with or without assistance, in compliance with ADA. Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods and demonstrate sufficient dexterity and vision to operate a variety of office equipment (if required) Responsible for being available 24X7 via mobile and landline communications to support Tower's operations. Must be willing to travel to remote worksites to include DR/BCP centers, branches and vendor sites.
