A leading architecture and engineering firm supporting a wide range of industries is seeking an Autodesk Support Specialist with a focus on Civil 3D. The organization also operates construction and IT divisions, all working collaboratively to support diverse client needs. Due to increasing project volume and upcoming retirements, the IT department's Design Support team is expanding. This team provides technical assistance and guidance across various design platforms, including Bentley, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
The Autodesk Support Specialist will provide technical support and workflow guidance for Autodesk software products, including AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and especially Civil 3D. The goal is to ensure optimal software performance, resolve technical issues, and enhance productivity across design and engineering teams.
Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Civil 3D or working in a CAD/BIM environment. Proven ability to troubleshoot and support design software and hardware across cross-functional teams. Strong customer service orientation and coordination skills. Familiarity with Windows OS, basic networking, and cloud-based platforms.
Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) certification. Experience with Civil 3D workspace and standards development. Knowledge of other Autodesk tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360. Willingness to travel occasionally for training. Flexible schedule availability.
Monday–Friday schedule, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Hybrid or fully remote options available. Must be located near one of the organization's office locations (MD, DC, FL, TX, NC). Collaborative team environment with opportunities for independent work. Contract-to-hire position: hourly during contract phase, with conversion to salaried employment.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, MD.
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
