Summary: As a member of the Martin's Family, the Relief Route Salesperson is responsible for becoming the supplier/provider of choice by creating 'raving fans' and providing excellent customer service. The Route Salesperson is a professional who acts as an ambassador for Martin's, proudly representing our legacy of cherished eating experiences, puts forth continuous efforts to increase sales, and goes the extra mile to provide service to excellent customers. As the front line of Martin's, improves communication channels, shares helpful knowledge with teammates and openly gives and receives truthful feedback.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Handheld Order processing systems.
