Job Summary
The Manager – Clinical Services is responsible for the day-to-day operations for assigned area(s) and serves as a liaison between physicians, administration, staff and patients. This role is responsible for financial management of their assigned areas identifying and resolving matters to promote a safe and quality patient care environment, implements continuous process improvement and manages the performance and development of staff. The Manager – Clinical Services also assists administrators and leadership to define and execute strategic initiatives within their assigned area(s) to support a clinical service delivery system that meets the clinical and financial objectives of the organization.
Job Qualifications
Education
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in nursing, business management, healthcare administration or other related field or an Associate degree/Diploma in Registered Nursing, Associate degree in business management, or Associate degree in healthcare administration or other related field. An Associate/Diploma degree requires the obtaining of a bachelor's degree in nursing, business management, healthcare administration or other related field within three years of starting in the position. An annual evaluation of coursework completed towards their bachelor's degree will be required.
Preferred/Optional: Master's degree in nursing, business management, healthcare administration or other related field.
Experience
Minimum Required: One year in a leadership role and two years healthcare experience.
Preferred: Four years' management experience in a healthcare field.
Certifications/Licenses
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license as applicable. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
