This is a temporary role. The (flex) Senior Manager, Global Brand Marketing – EDITION is a strategic, culturally attuned brand storyteller with a passion for modern luxury, innovation, and experience design. This role supports the Senior Director, Brand Marketing in leading go-to-market strategies, experiential activations, and campaign development for EDITION. As a key member of the EDITION and W Hotels Global Brand Team, this person is responsible for amplifying EDITION's global brand relevance across owned, earned, and paid channels.
This role plays an essential part in bringing the EDITION brand voice and identity to life across hotel openings, marketing programs, digital platforms, and partnerships—ensuring consistency, cultural resonance, and business impact. The ideal candidate brings a mix of creativity, strategic thinking, and operational excellence, and is fluent in the luxury lifestyle landscape.
Core Responsibilities
Brand Marketing Strategy & Execution
• Support the execution of EDITION's global marketing plan across key brand campaigns, hotel openings, digital/social content, and partnership activations.
• Act as brand guardian, ensuring brand voice and visual identity are applied consistently across consumer-facing platforms and marketing initiatives.
• Lead integrated marketing campaign planning with internal and external stakeholders, including PR, Creative, Digital, Continent Marketing, and Agency partners.
• Manage marketing asset development, including creative toolkits, templates, promotional packages, and marketing collateral.
• Support hotel-level programming by coordinating messaging and marketing tools across pre-opening and post-launch phases.
• Collaborate with paid media teams to manage media strategy and ensure campaign goals are aligned with global brand objectives.
Brand Storytelling, Experience & Partnerships
• Support EDITION's positioning through the execution of brand events, cultural partnerships, and on-property activations.
• Work closely with the social media and content teams to bring brand stories to life through elevated, authentic storytelling.
• Support editorial and partnership storytelling through creative briefs, content planning, and cross-platform integration.
• Help maintain the brand's digital presence across Marriott.com and EDITIONhotels.com, ensuring content is optimized and up to date.
Project Management & Cross-Functional Leadership
• Liaise with internal global teams, continent stakeholders, and agencies to manage timelines, deliverables, and marketing rollout plans.
• Lead creative briefing, timeline management, budget tracking, and post-campaign reporting.
• Ensure marketing programs are aligned with business objectives, measurable KPIs, and brand integrity.
• Contribute to brand performance tracking through campaign dashboards, insights reporting, and brand scorecards.
• Partner with Global PR and Partnerships to align messaging and activation strategies.
Training, Tools & Internal Communication
• Support internal education and training tools that reinforce EDITION's marketing strategy and brand values across global regions.
• Assist in managing internal communications, including brand updates, campaign overviews, and internal launch kits.
• Participate in key GM and property marketing meetings to share brand strategy, creative direction, and best practices.
Candidate Profile
Required Education & Experience
• 4-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in brand marketing, preferably in luxury, lifestyle, or hospitality sectors
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage complex projects, and work in a matrixed global organization
• Proven experience in integrated campaign management, partnership activation, and content marketing
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in travel, luxury, or hospitality brands strongly preferred
• Understanding of brand storytelling, content strategy, and digital/social media marketing
• Strong visual and written communication skills with a sharp creative eye
• Experience with creative agency management and internal brand governance
• Familiarity with luxury customer insights, consumer behavior, and global marketing trends
• Budget management and performance tracking expertise
