Senior Full Stack Engineer (Focus on Front-End)

We are seeking a self-motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer (Focus on Front-End) to support our Design System driven React UI library and AEM platform, who is passionate about delivering value, is forward-thinking, and excited to see the successful implementation of the products delivered.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and Build: Develop a library of scalable and maintainable React and Web Components aligned with our Design System. Implement these components across all our digital properties for consumption in React applications and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform.
  • Collaborate with Visionaries: Work closely with Architects and Leads to design ground breaking solutions that meet business needs and drive innovation.
  • Embrace Agility: Engage in an agile delivery model, partnering with various product enablement teams to deliver excellence.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and leaders to identify challenges and speed up new business value delivery.
  • Lead with Experience: Bring your proven expertise in leading strategies and projects within complex business and marketing environments.
  • Thrive in a team setting, working together to tackle technical challenges.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years' experience working in or leading complex enterprise implementations
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and comfort working within a rapidly changing startup environment; you love the challenge of working on a small team and being part of a larger movement to change the engineering culture of an enterprise
  • Understanding of Agile and DevOps principles, development focused on testing, continuous integration, and other Software Engineering norms to enhance the speed and quality of new features
  • Strong understanding of the web platform and its capabilities
  • Eagerness to learn emerging technologies and understanding how they will impact what comes next
  • A capacity for constant learning from both success and failure, remaining open to change and continuous improvement
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through the creative process
  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively articulate and communicate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes to engineering leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, React, HTML5, CSS3, Java and/or similar technologies
  • Supporting and working in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) – AEM skills are not required and can be learned on the job but is an asset if you have experience.

Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Salary range is expected to be between $94,220.00 CAD - $174,980.00 CAD. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
