Our client, a leader in high-performance automotive engineering, is seeking a Wiring & Systems Applications Engineer to join their team. As a Wiring & Systems Applications Engineer, you will be part of the Electrical Engineering department supporting Power Unit, Dyno, and Vehicle wiring applications. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Wiring & Systems Applications Engineer Location: Santa Clarita, CA Pay Range: $43.27/hr – $57.69/hr (Flat Rate: $90,000 – $120,000 annually)

What's the Job?

• Design and layout complete vehicle harnesses for hybrid and BEV applications.
• Build prototype harnesses and connectivity solutions for test equipment and dynamometers.
• Install and maintain wiring systems from 14V up to 1000V for high-current applications.
• Debug and repair loom issues; provide integration solutions for test systems.
• Collaborate with dyno and trackside engineers for wiring and system support.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in vehicle harness design and wiring systems.
• Proficiency in motor racing loom design and high-voltage systems (60V and above).
• Hands-on experience with military-spec wiring standards and specialized harness tools.
• Strong understanding of automotive components, ECUs, and wiring architecture.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings accurately. What's in it for me?
