Sr. Engineering Support Specialist

Our client, a leader in aerospace technologies, is seeking a Sr. Engineering Support Specialist to join their team. As a Sr. Engineering Support Specialist, you will be part of the Electrical Engineering department supporting the Sensing, Guidance & Navigation team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Clearwater, FL

Pay Range: $52.88/hr

What's the Job?

• Prepare and assist with the creation and verification of engineering change notices.
• Coordinate engineering change notices by engaging various stakeholders (configuration management, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc.).
• Perform engineering drawing checks against redlines and parts lists to ensure proper implementation.
• Perform copyediting and proofreading on engineering reports.
• Provide general support to the Sensing, Guidance & Navigation Electrical Engineering team by researching component datasheets and data mining in Teamcenter.

What's Needed?

• Associates degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the Sciences, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 10+ years of experience working on engineering teams.
• 5+ years of experience with Teamcenter.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Proficiency in technical documentation.
