Our client, a municipal government organization, is seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an essential part of the Public Services Department supporting community engagement and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and attention to detail, which will help you succeed and grow within the organization.

Job Title: Temporary Customer Service Representative (3 months- temporary)

Location: Pendleton, SC

Pay Range: $18-19

Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform routine clerical and administrative work in receiving the public and providing customer assistance
• Handle cashiering duties, including collecting revenue and balancing cash drawer
• Process data and maintain accurate records in accordance with organizational policies
• Answer incoming calls, route callers to appropriate departments, and provide information as needed
• Communicate effectively with the public regarding inquiries, payments, work orders, and complaints, ensuring confidentiality

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent with coursework in office practices such as typing, filing, and bookkeeping
• Working knowledge of computers and electronic data processing systems
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Ability to perform cashier duties accurately and handle stressful situations professionally
• Valid SC driver's license
