Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and engineering industry, is seeking a Tech 2, Packaging Engineering to join their team. As a Tech 2, Packaging Engineering, you will be part of the Packaging Department supporting engineering and testing teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Vernon Hills, IL

What's the Job?

• Support daily activities in the test lab, including equipment qualification and test method validation (TMV) development.
• Perform bench-level engineering tests for design verification, stability, feasibility, and test method development.
• Assist in review of test requests to ensure accuracy and support lab for TMVs.
• Develop proficiency in environmental chamber supervision, aging program coordination, and equipment maintenance.
• Support compliance with EHS requirements and maintain good documentation practices (GDP, GLP).

What's Needed?

• Technical knowledge of lab testing procedures and equipment qualification processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve test-related issues independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and process management.
• Experience supporting test method validation and engineering projects.
• Commitment to safety standards and environmental health and safety (EHS) protocols.
