Janitor

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and distribution industry, is seeking a janitor to join their team. As a janitor, you will be part of the facilities support department supporting operational efficiency and maintenance excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Covington, GA

Pay Range: $17.66/hr

Shift: Days: 8am - 4:30pm

What's the job?

• Perform housekeeping duties inside and on the grounds of the facility to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Document all cleaning activities following SOP guidelines to maintain compliance and quality standards.
• Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and process supply orders as needed.
• Operate floor scrubbers and some Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to support facility maintenance.
• Assist in light general facility maintenance and become knowledgeable of other roles to support team needs during absences or urgency.

What's needed?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in general housekeeping and light maintenance is advantageous.
• Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Knowledge of housekeeping equipment, chemicals, and techniques.
• Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and a drive for efficiency.
