Our client, a leading manufacturing technology organization, is seeking a System Development and Support Engineer II to join their team. As a System Development and Support Engineer II, you will be part of the Global Manufacturing IT department supporting manufacturing operations and IT software development teams. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay Range: $42/h + Benefits

What's The Job?

• Support and develop automation, MES, and manufacturing-related applications, including design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with business teams to define manufacturing specifications and requirements.
• Manage application system uptime to ensure optimal performance and availability for end users on the manufacturing floor.
• Participate in research and development of new technology solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Monitor application performance and implement continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

What's Needed?

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (minimum 2nd Class Upper).
• 1-3 years of experience in IT software development within a multinational corporation.
• Knowledge of system analysis methodology and system development processes.
• Strong project coordination and database troubleshooting skills.
• Experience or knowledge in manufacturing electronics sector, especially in IT manufacturing domains, is preferred.
