Service Equipment Mechanic

As a Service Equipment Mechanic, you'll work with a wide range of advanced systems - from HVAC and environmental controls to cogeneration and steam recovery - ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency that keep our operations moving forward. Location: New Bedford, MA

Pay Range: $30.32-$42.78 (based on experience)

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7am-3pm with mandatory OT as needed

What's the Job?

  • Monitor and maintain the Building Management System (BMS), ensuring optimal operation of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
  • Document preventative maintenance activities using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Maintain parts inventory and manage work orders through CMMS.
  • Calibrate monitoring equipment to ensure system accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the maintenance team.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Building Services, particularly with HVAC systems.
  • Universal Refrigeration License is required.
  • Proficiency in mechanical systems and production equipment.
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Windows-based systems.
