Quality Support Technician – CapA Focus

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Columbus, IN

Pay Range: $22/hour or more depending on experience

Shift: 3rd Shift: 11:00 pm - 7:30 am

What's the Job?

• Inspect, test, and evaluate products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collect, analyze, and report data supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication with maintenance, machine technicians, operators, and production supervisors.
• Collect routine product samples from assigned machines and processes using specialized quality assurance tools.
• Perform in-process inspections and basic measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of continuous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in powder metal manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to organize priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow standard work instructions.
