Our client, a leader in furniture manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting manufacturing operations.

Job Title: Quality Engineer | 6 months contract, potential to become Direct Hire

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan

Pay Range: $35-40/HR

What's the Job?

• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Operations teams to understand technical and visual expectations of components and products
• Document standards in the Quality Acceptance Standard and Cyclical Standardized Work templates
• Clearly communicate expectations through text, images, and physical samples as appropriate
• Check for clarity and obtain stakeholder approval for documentation
• Provide regular updates to operations leaders on progress and support needed

What's Needed?

• Familiarity with a manufacturing environment in contract furniture, automotive, or other discreet products
• Motivated and driven individual with a proactive approach
• Knowledge of quality system documentation and standardized work processes
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with shop and office employees
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Technical or Engineering Degree (AS/BS) a plus
