Process Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the manufacturing support department, working closely with process development and operational teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, collaboration skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Memphis, TN

What's the Job?

  • Apply engineering expertise to analyze data for trends and identify process and operational improvements.
  • Drive process optimizations, control enhancements, and quality improvements to increase yields and reduce costs.
  • Lead the introduction and relocation of new manufacturing processes, ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Design, estimate, and oversee small to medium-sized capital projects to improve plant operations.
  • Provide training and support to chemical technicians on process safety and procedures, including conducting classroom sessions.

What's Needed?

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in production or process engineering within a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of process design, troubleshooting, and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with material and energy balances to enhance efficiency.
  • Familiarity with reaction chemistry and kinetics is a plus.
