Design Engineer

Work with program managers to develop designs and layout program schedules for existing and new business contracts. Identify innovative and cost-effective solutions to design challenges. Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, bills of material, and engineering documentation such as requirements traceability matrices. Assist in creating and presenting technical reports regarding status and results of design and testing. Execute design reviews. Approval of design for manufacturing reviews. Management of the mold building process. Complete projects within assigned time frame. Prepare estimates of development costs. Time keeping and approval for assigned personnel. Prepare and administer performance reviews for assigned employees. Provide leadership and guidance to assigned employees. Perform other duties as assigned.
