Material Support

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Material Support to join their team. As a Material Support, you will be part of the Production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Support

Location: Alexandria, MN

Pay Range: $20+/hour

Shift: 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM), AND B Shift (Monday-Wednesday, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM; Thursday, 6:30 PM - 12:30 AM)

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate equipment safely and efficiently to maximize output
• Accurately fulfill customer orders by reviewing manufacturing specifications
• Perform inspections of aluminum extrusion orders prior to entering the aging oven
• Ensure all quality practices are followed and monitor process changes for packing and rates
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work environment

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to recognize safety concerns and utilize inspection equipment properly
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
