Lead Engineering Technician

Our client, a leader in aerospace and defense technology, is seeking a Lead Engineering Technician to join their team. As a Lead Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Support Department supporting testing and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, self-motivation, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization. 3-Month Assignment that can be extended or converted.

Location: Clearwater, FL

Pay Range: $33/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform hands-on testing of Inertial and Guidance Electronics products across various environmental conditions.
• Set up, program, and operate specialized test equipment to execute Acceptance Test Procedures.
• Maintain detailed test logs and follow precise test procedures without errors.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing test documentation and work instructions.
• Coordinate daily activities with test technicians and engineers, ensuring safety and equipment maintenance standards are met.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to government regulations.
• Minimum of two years experience with general test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, and power supplies.
• Experience with setting up and operating environmental and functional testing equipment.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
