IT Support Specialist (Bilingual Mandarin-English)

Our client, a leader in the IT industry, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be part of the IT Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Fremont, CA

Pay Range: Up to $32 per hour

Shift: M-F, 9AM-6PM, Full-Time

What's the Job?

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, applications, and desk phones.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting all IT systems and networks.
• Providing technical support for all users with any issues on Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS, Redhat Linux, desk phones, and networking.
• Setting up new accounts and training new employees.
• Co-working with operations on office printer, electric, UPS, badge, and security camera systems.

What's Needed?

• BS/BA degree in IT or MIS related fields is preferred; BS/BA in Computer Science and Computer Engineering is acceptable.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS, Redhat Linux operating systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of network infrastructure including Windows AD/DC, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN, and virtualization (VMWare).
• Ability to speak both English and Mandarin (must-have).
• Knowledge of Electric, UPS, and HVAC for the server room is a plus.
