Our client in Plano, TX is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Junior Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams including Production, Automation, Sales Ops, and Quality. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Junior Systems Engineer (Entry-Level) Location: Plano, TX Pay Range: Starting at $80,000 annually Schedule: Full-time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, Day Shift

What's the Job?

• Support system integration activities and assist in documenting processes, configurations, and test results.

• Learn to collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, automation, QA, production) to support integration efforts.

• Assist in troubleshooting hardware/software issues and escalate to senior engineers or vendors as needed.

• Participate in the preparation of work instructions and training materials for production teams.

• Gain exposure to production automation systems, including onboarding requirements, configurations, and scripts.

• Support branding, labeling, and approvals for customer-specific product needs.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.

What's Needed?

• Recent graduate from college or technical school with a technical degree (e.g., Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field).

• Strong foundation in technical problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Basic knowledge of hardware, system configurations, or IT concepts (coursework/internship experience acceptable).

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

• High attention to detail and time management in a fast-paced environment.

• Eagerness to learn and grow into a full Systems Engineer role.

• Knowledge of ERP systems, automation, or computer hardware (servers, storage, networking) is a plus but not required.
