Our client, the healthcare industry, is seeking a Food Service Worker to join their team. As a Food Service Worker, you will be part of the dietary department supporting hospital operations. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Food Service Worker

Location: Centralia, IL

Pay Range: $15.00 per hour

Shift: Variable shift, with every weekend required, from 5:00 AM to 7:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform kitchen tasks such as dishwashing, trash removal, sweeping, and mopping
• Restock kitchenettes throughout the facility to ensure smooth operations
• Assist with food cart delivery and other assigned duties by management
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas
• Support team members in delivering quality food service to patients and staff

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Willingness to acquire a valid Serv-Safe certificate within 30 days of hire
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
