Our client, a leader in innovative transportation solutions, is seeking a Fleet Support Engineer to join their team. As a Fleet Support Engineer, you will be part of the operations team supporting the reliability and performance of our advanced fleet. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $68 per hour

What's the Job?

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for real-time escalations regarding chassis, suspension, and vehicle dynamics issues.
• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis to implement both interim and permanent corrective actions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to ride quality, vehicle stability, and suspension performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive troubleshooting guides for chassis and suspension components.
• Analyze large datasets to proactively identify systematic issues and recommend preventative actions.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicles, focusing on chassis or suspension systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with chassis systems, including suspension, steering, and braking.
• Deep understanding of active and semi-active suspension technologies.
• A proactive self-starter who can build strong relationships and communicate effectively across various teams.
