Equipment Support Technician L1 - 1st Shift

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking an Equipment Support Technician L1 - 1st Shift to join their team. As an Equipment Support Technician L1 - 1st Shift, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the shipping and receiving dock team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: 20-22 per hour

Shift: First Shift

What's the Job?

• Operate heavy forklift equipment safely and efficiently in a busy shipping and receiving environment.
• Load and unload trucks using PV or hand trucks, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Log incoming products into the computer system and assign proper storage locations.
• Assist with the teardown of various products as needed.
• Distribute parts and products to designated locations within the facility.

What's Needed?

• Experience operating heavy forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Average or better computer skills for logging and tracking inventory.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely and efficiently.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Availability to work all days of the week, including weekends.
