Customer Support Technical Specialist

Our client, a leading innovator in the electric products industry, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Customer Support Technical Specialist to join their dynamic team. As a Customer Support Technical Specialist, you will be an essential part of the support department, assisting dealers and end consumers with technical inquiries and product support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for bicycles, aligning successfully with the company's mission to deliver exceptional customer service and technical expertise.

Job Title: Customer Support Technical Specialist

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Pay Range: $26.00 p/h

Shift: Monday to Friday 11:00am to 8:00pm (training 3 weeks, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm)

What's the Job?

  • Respond to incoming calls from dealers and end consumers, providing technical and product support with confidence and friendliness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical or software-related issues of the product, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with warranty decisions following company guidelines and document all interactions accurately in CRM tools.
  • Support the team by sharing technical knowledge and best practices to improve overall customer experience.
  • Stay informed about product updates and industry trends to provide current and accurate assistance.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma required; an associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in bicycle shops or the bicycle industry is highly desirable, along with enthusiasm for bicycles.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service, especially in phone or in-person support environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and respond effectively.
  • Proficiency with modern IT, PC, and CRM tools; quick learning capabilities are essential.
  • English needed, French is a plus
