Customer Service Representative

Our client, an industry leader in warehousing and logistics, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal departments, ensuring smooth communication and efficient resolution of logistics inquiries. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude that aligns with the company's commitment to excellence.

What's the Job?

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls and emails regarding shipments, deliveries, and logistics inquiries
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and carriers to resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Track and update shipment statuses in logistics software systems
  • Prepare and process documentation such as bills of lading, shipping manifests, and delivery confirmations
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions
  • Provide timely updates and proactive communication to clients regarding delays or changes

What's Needed?

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in logistics, transportation, or warehousing
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with logistics software, Microsoft Office, and data entry systems
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Team-oriented attitude with a focus on collaboration and efficiency
