Our client, a leading electrical distribution company, is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to join their team. As a Counter Sales Associate, you will be part of the sales department supporting customer service and sales growth. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Counter Sales Associate

Location: Easton, MD

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Hours Per Shift: 8

What's the Job?

• Drive electrical distribution sales for the counter business
• Develop account plans and penetration strategies
• Perform all aspects of selling to maintain and develop new or existing customers
• Provide outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships with customers
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team goals

What's Needed?

• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, including effective communication at all levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good team player with collaborative mindset
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
• Ability to type on a computer keyboard and familiarity with Windows-based software
• Electrical product knowledge, including lighting, switchgear, controls, and electrical commodities
• Experience in electrical distribution or similar sales environments
• Familiarity with automated order entry systems and PC operation
