Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing and industrial automation, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Stamping, Automation, and Production Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and clear technical communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Controls Engineer Location: Coppell, Texas Pay Range: $45 - $51

What's the Job?

• Design, program, debug, and maintain Allen-Bradley PLC systems for stamping equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, automation, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
• Apply and maintain compliance with GCCS (Global Common Controls Standards).
• Support commissioning, startup, and validation of stamping presses and related automation.
• Modify and optimize PLC, HMI, and safety programs for improved efficiency and safety.

What's Needed?

• 3–7+ years of controls engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with stamping press controls and press automation.
• Strong proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs and Rockwell Automation software.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and panel layouts.
• Experience with industrial networks such as EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, or ControlNet.
