Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join their team. As a Construction Project Engineer, you will be part of the project management department supporting construction operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Boydton, VA

What's the Job?

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with plans and regulations.
• Evaluate the quality and suitability of construction materials, including concrete, steel, and other components.
• Verify adherence to safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, including photographs, reports, and test results.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on inspection findings and communicate results to contractors, engineers, and project managers.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or related fields is preferred.
• Relevant experience in construction or quality control.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant codes and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and meticulous documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
