Chronic RN

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Chronic RN to join their team. As a Chronic RN, you will be part of the patient care team supporting individuals with End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD). The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Chronic RN

Location: West Allis, WI

Shift: Hours Per Shift: 8

What's the Job?

  • Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
  • Perform ongoing collection and analysis of patient data pre, during, and post hemodialysis treatment.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment modalities and care options.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and document their effectiveness.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care outcomes.

What's Needed?

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current appropriate state licensure and CPR BLS Certification.
  • 1 year of Nephrology Nursing experience in the last two years as a RN.
  • Chronic hemodialysis experience is required.
  • Minimum of 9 months experience as a RN and 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis.
