Chronic RN Opportunity

Our client, a leader in healthcare services, is seeking a Chronic RN to join their team. As a Chronic RN, you will be part of the nursing department supporting patients with End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD). The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Job Title: Chronic RN

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Shift: 8 hours per shift

What's the Job?

  • Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Perform ongoing, systematic collection and analysis of patient data during hemodialysis treatment and document findings in the patient medical record.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options and care plans, ensuring they understand their health needs.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and document medical justification and effectiveness.
  • Participate in emergency response measures and serve as a resource for the healthcare team.

What's Needed?

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current state licensure.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Nephrology Nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience in chronic hemodialysis is required.
  • Current CPR BLS Certification.
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
