Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Chronic RN to join their team. As a Chronic RN, you will be part of the patient care team supporting individuals with End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD). The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Location: Newport News, VA

Pay Range: $47.00

Shift: 8 hours per shift

What's the Job?

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.
• Perform ongoing collection and analysis of patient data pre, during, and post hemodialysis treatment, documenting in the patient medical record.
• Direct and collaborate with patient care staff to ensure the safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document the medical justification and effectiveness.
• Participate in staff training and orientation of new staff as assigned, serving as a resource for the healthcare team.

What's Needed?

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure and CPR BLS Certification.
• A minimum of 1 year of Nephrology Nursing experience in the last two years as a RN.
• Chronic hemodialysis experience is required.
• Ability to perform essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor.
