Chronic RN

Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Chronic RN to join their team. As a Chronic RN, you will be part of the nursing department supporting patient care initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a compassionate nature, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully with the organization's mission to provide exceptional patient care.

What's the Job?

  • Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Perform ongoing collection and analysis of patient data pre, during, and post hemodialysis treatment, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment modalities and transplant options, ensuring they are informed and involved in their care.
  • Administer prescribed medications and document their effectiveness, while also initiating emergency response measures when necessary.
  • Serve as a resource for the healthcare team and participate in staff training and orientation for new employees.

What's Needed?

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current state licensure.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Nephrology Nursing experience within the last two years.
  • Experience in chronic hemodialysis as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current CPR BLS Certification.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and moving patients.
