Our client, a manufacturing facility, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services supporting maintenance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization skills, strong plumbing, patching/painting, drywalling, and electrical skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, and control systems.
• Ensure building systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs.
• Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure proper operation.
• Follow safety protocols for hazardous materials and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to climb ladders and go on roofs, with physical capability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills, with CMMS experience preferred.
• Relevant certifications/licenses, such as HVAC licensing or universal CFC certification, are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
