Building Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the commercial facilities management industry, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting multiple banking facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Frankfort, KY

What's the Job?

  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across multiple facilities.
  • Perform routine maintenance and monitor repairs for Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems.
  • Travel between facilities to ensure optimal functioning of all building systems (company vehicle provided)
  • Maintain responsibility for preventative maintenance, inventory control, and contracted services.
  • Record readings, calibrate equipment, and make adjustments to ensure systems operate at peak performance.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • EPA 608 Type II Certification required; Universal Certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and proficiency with computer applications such as Word and Excel.
