Building Engineer

Our client, a global leader in commercial real estate and facilities management, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering & Technical Services department supporting facility operations and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Engineer Location: Goodyear, AZ Pay Range: $30/hr

What's the Job?

1. Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
2. Conduct fire/life safety checks including extinguishers, fire suppression, and eyewash stations
3. Support preventive maintenance programs to ensure system performance
4. Respond to facility service calls including restroom, painting, and HVAC issues
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and site procedures

What's Needed?

• 4+ years of maintenance or building engineering experience
• Ability to work independently with strong troubleshooting skills
• High School Diploma required; trade school preferred
• Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and iOS devices
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb, bend, and walk for extended periods
