Senior Full Stack Engineer

Our client is a UK-based software company modernizing the construction industry with a collaborative planning platform built for site delivery teams. Their solution replaces spreadsheets and manual tools with real-time planning software used on high-value infrastructure projects across Europe. In a sector that contributes significantly to global GDP but struggles with productivity, the company is driving real change through intuitive, high-impact technology. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will build scalable backend systems and intuitive frontend features to support real-time collaboration on large-scale construction projects. This remote-first role involves working across the stack to solve complex challenges in data synchronization, performance, and usability while contributing to architecture, API design, and continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and scale backend services that power real-time collaboration for teams on billion-pound projects
• Architect solutions for complex data synchronization challenges between multiple construction planning systems
• Create elegant frontend experiences using React and TypeScript that make complex workflows feel simple
• Design and implement WebSocket-based features for live updates across distributed construction teams
• Optimize performance for applications handling massive project datasets
• Contribute to our serverless infrastructure and event-driven architecture
• Participate in code reviews and help elevate engineering standards across the team
• Collaborate asynchronously with our global team while maintaining strong overlap with PH time zone colleagues
