A strategic and results-driven paid media specialist with strong hands-on experience managing and scaling Google Ads and paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Skilled in full-funnel strategy, audience segmentation, structured testing, and performance optimisation to improve CPA, CTR, ROAS, and lead quality. Detail-oriented in campaign setup, tracking implementation, reporting, and platform management, with the ability to analyse data, refine creatives, and continuously enhance campaign performance.
Must-have Skills / Qualification:
- 5+ years of experience in Google Ads (priority to digital marketing agencies experience)
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
- At least 3+ years specializing in paid social ads
- Strong track record running Google ads and paid social campaigns in agency environments
- Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Expertise in performance marketing, attribution, and optimisation
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop compelling ad concepts and hooks
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work New Zealand business hours (preferably)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, build, and optimise Google Ads and paid social advertising campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Develop full-funnel strategies for awareness, consideration, and conversions.
- Create audience segments, implement structured testing, and continually enhance performance.
- Analyse campaign data to improve CPA, CTR, ROAS, and lead quality.
- Review and verify monthly campaign details at the beginning of each month to ensure accuracy and readiness for launch.
- Assess creatives provided by the designer and give feedback or comments when improvements are needed.
- Upload approved creatives and campaign materials to the relevant advertising platforms and create new campaigns.
- Ensure previous campaigns are switched off on time.
- Conduct analysis of previous campaigns to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop strategies for new and existing clients based on campaign performance data and insights.
- Produce monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
- Prepare task lists and documentation of completed activities for client reporting purposes.
- Ensure proper tracking setup, including pixels, events, and custom conversions.
- Use Monday.com daily to log tasks, track progress, and maintain a clear history of activities, including links to creatives and campaign comments.
- Monitor time tracking through the designated login system at the start of each workday.
- Stay updated on social platform trends, creative best practices, and algorithm updates.
