Main Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and optimization of precious metals processing technologies.
• Lead and execute applied research activities related to the extraction, recovery, and valorization of precious metals.
• Participate in the design, monitoring, and analysis of laboratory and pilot-scale industrial tests.
• Provide advanced technical expertise on metallurgical challenges and processing technologies.
• Support R&D teams in analyzing results and solving complex technical problems.
• Conduct scientific and technological monitoring of innovative precious metals processing methods.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing technical and economic performance.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, synthesis notes, and scientific recommendations.
• Collaborate with industrial teams, laboratories, and technical partners within R&D projects.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in precious metals processing and recovery.
• Solid knowledge of metallurgical and hydrometallurgical processes.
• Ability to design and conduct tests, analyze results, and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and techniques applied to extractive metallurgy.
• Strong analytical mindset, scientific rigor, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects within an R&D environment.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Academic Background & Experience:

Engineering degree or PhD in Metallurgy, Process Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or equivalent field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in precious metals processing, preferably in an industrial, mining, or applied research center environment. Position based in Marrakech.
