If you're ready to make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you! We are seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Human Resources Director for the Security and Employment Service Center. In this role, you'll collaborate with agencies like the Department of Labor, Department of Public Safety, Department of Professional and Financial Regulations, Department of Defense, Veterans' and Emergency Management, and the Permanent Commission on the Status of Racial, Indigenous and Tribal Populations providing essential Human Resources support in a unionized, public service environment. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance and support in interpreting bargaining agreements, talent acquisition, position control, and payroll management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation of Bargaining Agreements and Civil Service Law
  • Building and Leading a Team of HR Professionals
  • Providing Exemplary Customer Service and Fostering Positive Relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret policies and regulations effectively
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of State and Federal HR laws and collective bargaining
  • Experience in wage and benefit administration and position control
  • Proficiency in supervising diverse personnel
  • Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations
  • Strong investigative and research skills
  • Effective team-building and relationship management abilities
