Bangor International Airport is a Part 139 compliant commercial air service airport. The Airport Operations Officer is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations of the airfield, terminal and aprons. This position involves a broad range of responsibilities, from overseeing the implementation of airport safety protocols to coordinating between various departments and agencies to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Under the direction of the Manager of Airfield Operations, this position plans, organizes, and oversees airside and landside operations.

This position is nonexempt. The full salary range is $22.26-$29.92 per hour, depending on experience. Most new hires start between $22.26 – $24.56 per hour, with higher pay available for candidates who bring extensive experience. Progression through the remainder of the pay-scale will be based on performance.
