Group Summary

The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent vision systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.

Job Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of customer inquiries in the area of exterior mirrors into a mature product concept
• Supporting the design and concept phase of exterior mirrors
• Preparing and managing corresponding functional prototypes for internal and external technology meetings
• Reviewing customer specifications, regulations, industry standards and legal requirements or patent research
• Conducting market research regarding new applicable technologies and benchmark analyses
• Presenting the development results both internally and externally (e.g., to customers, production plants)

What We Are Looking For

• Advanced studies in engineering sciences (or comparable course)
• First relevant experience in the automotive industry with a focus on mechanics, mechatronics, and plastic technology is desirable
• CAD knowledge with Catia V5
• Secure use of Microsoft Office programs
• Strong teamwork skills as well as self-motivation and independent working
• Very good German and English skills in speech and writing
• Ideally, first experience in the development department of an international corporation
